Your Role

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Marist College, Emerald, in the position of Facilities Officer (Gardens, Grounds and Maintenance). This is a full-time continuing position for 38hpw, commencing as soon as able or as negotiated with the successful applicant. 

We are seeking applicants who will contribute to the effective and efficient operation and environment of the school through a high level of personal motivation and initiative in the ongoing maintenance, beautification, and development of the school’s facilities and grounds.  

Reporting to the Principal, this role performs daily grounds and maintenance tasks including minor repairs and maintenance of school building and surrounds, gardening and grounds beautification and various other tasks as required. 

Typical duties include but are not limited:-

• Securing grounds and equipment – keeping our school safe
• Mowing, trimming and fertilising lawns and turf areas
