Curriculum Leader – Mathematics (POR2)

Xavier College is seeking a motivated Curriculum Leader – Mathematics to join our Gawler Belt (7-12) campus. This position is classified as a POR2, commencing Week 7, Term 2 and concluding January 2029.

This role includes a permanent teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.

The Curriculum Leader - Mathematics will work collaboratively with the Assistant Principal – Teaching & Learning and campus leadership. The role will lead and support teaching staff in the design, implementation and review of a high quality Mathematics curriculum, while making a meaningful contribution to the Mathematics faculty.

As the Curriculum Leader - Mathematics you will:

• Lead and shape a high-quality Mathematics curriculum aligned with ACARA, SACE and College priorities.
• Work alongside teachers to plan, deliver and review engaging and effective Maths programs.
• Coach and mentor staff to strengthen teaching, assessment and reporting practices.
• Ensure curriculum documentation (units, assessments and maps) is clear, consistent and up to date.
• Lead moderation processes to support fair and consistent assessment.
• Use student data (NAPLAN, PAT, SACE) to inform teaching and drive improvement.
• Lead faculty meetings and support ongoing professional learning and improvement.
• Build strong relationships and ensure resources are organised, accessible and fit for purpose.
