The Role
We are seeking a highly effective and dedicated teacher who uses explicit teaching strategies and strong classroom management to maximise student learning and wellbeing. You will be flexible, collaborative, and an excellent communicator, with a clear commitment to ongoing professional growth.
You will plan, program and assess using an integrated, differentiated curriculum to meet diverse student needs. A reflective mindset and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities is highly regarded. You will implement targeted strategies to support individual development and work effectively within an education support environment, including leading and collaborating with Education Assistants to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
You will build strong partnerships with families, therapists and external agencies, contributing positively to the wider school community to improve student outcomes.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
