About the Role
As Assistant Principal, you will lead teaching excellence, foster staff development, and build a strong school community. You will need excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills and a strong passion for ongoing learning and improvement.
Requirements of the role:
- postgraduate or Master's in Leadership, Religion, Theology, or Education
- proven ability to inspire staff, support students, and partner with families to nurture a vibrant, faith-filled learning environment
- experience in driving a high-performance, improvement-focused school culture
- ability to lead with Gospel values and contribute to the Church's mission
- experience in overseeing staff induction, development, and performance
- promote religious leadership and parish partnerships
- an exemplary classroom practitioner with the ability to model and lead effective teaching and learning strategies
- skilled at strengthening school and system-wide networks
- (Category E) in the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term
- experience leading school-wide Positive Behaviours for Learning practices
- experience or qualifications in gifted education and EALD (desirable).
