Burrowes State School is a primary school located in Marsden, Queensland, catering to students from Prep to Year 6. It serves a diverse and growing community. Burrowes State School is seeking a dedicated Engagement Teacher to support teachers and students across Prep - Year 2.

2026 is an exciting opportunity for teachers and staff at Burrowes State School as we implement a number of our signature programs and staffing models.  Our staff are looking forward to this opportunity with renewed excitement and positivity. 

As part of our inclusive model of support and intervention, you will work with Prep - Year 2 teams to support teachers, manage teacher aide programs and provide support and intervention for students. Leading teams to identify, implement and record reasonable adjustments to address students' needs. Guiding staff to ensure obligations under the DDA are fulfilled. Supporting the Prep - Year 2 teams to ensure the enactment of the Explicit Improvement Agenda through modelling and co-teaching.
