Clairvaux MacKillop College, Upper Mount Gravatt, is seeking a Support Teacher: Inclusive Education for a fixed‑term role with an English teaching load across all year levels.
For this position, we are open to either Full Time or Part TIme hours for the right canddiate.

- Contract date: Commencing ASAP - 4 December 2026
- Work hours: 30 hours pe week (Part time hours may be negotiable with the right candidate)
- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + super (commensurate with experience)

About the opportunity
Clairvaux MacKillop College, Upper Mount Gravatt, currently has a vacancy for a Support Teacher: Inclusive Education to join their team. This fixed‑term position includes an English teaching load across all year levels, offering the opportunity to support diverse learners while contributing to high‑quality English programs.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices relating to students with a disability.
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality inclusive education practices, curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community.
- Deliver high‑quality English lessons across all year levels as required
- Implementing effective, adaptive, inclusive and equitable practices and teaching strategies.
- Oversee the development of Personalised Support Plans which clearly outline adjustment requirements in language discernible by teachers and comply with all evidence requirements for NCCD timelines.
- Proactively and collaboratively engaging in professional renewal practices to enhance student outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school.
- Providing effective supervision of students.
- Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
- Encouraging the involvement of the school and students in the life of the church.
