Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a flexible, rewarding role? St Paul’s Early Learning Centre (ELC) are seeking a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our dynamic team on a full time basis.

Catholic Education has a network of 18 Catholic schools in the Northern Territory - five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre and five remote schools.

About Us:

St Paul’s Early Learning Centre (ELC) service is play-based, focused on fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. We are committed to supporting each child's learning journey through exploration, creativity, and meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement play-based learning experiences for children
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children in the program
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the broader community
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the ELC program

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an early learning or OSHC setting
  • NT Ochre Card – Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certificates

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Experience of working from a trauma informed perspective
  • Current Respond to Abuse and Neglect and Mandatory reporting – Education and Care Training
