<p><strong>About Us</strong></p>
<p>Kairos Community College is a small, independent school providing a flexible and supportive environment for young people in Year 10 to Year 12. As a fee-free, inclusive college, we are dedicated to helping students re-engage with their education and achieve their training aspirations. Our dedicated staff are proud of our record in helping 100 percent of Year 12 students achieve their QCE every year since our inception.</p>
<p>While our organisation continues to grow, our Deception Bay campus is now in its 12th year. Having operated for over a decade, this campus is focused on consolidating its established success and strong community foundations.</p>
<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a highly skilled leader to join our Tribe as the Head of Campus at Deception Bay. Leading by example, you will manage an established campus with a focus on stability, excellence, and student re-engagement. This role reports directly to the State Principal and will commence in Term 3, on Monday 13 July 2026.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide high-level educational and strategic leadership for the Deception Bay campus.</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of teaching and support staff.</li>
<li>Drive student re-engagement through inclusive, student-centred practices.</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the local community.</li>
<li>Ensure campus compliance with educational standards and college policies.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education as a minimum requirement, though postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management are highly regarded. You will be highly relational, demonstrating a genuine interest in developing meaningful relationships with young people while upholding the key structures of the school.</p>
<p>Kairos Community College is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. It is a requirement of this role that you hold current teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. All applicants will undergo relevant recruitment screening prior to commencement.</p>
