The Role
SRC is seeking a skilled and proactive Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional to lead the design, implementation, and management of the College’s ICT infrastructure. In this role, you would drive the future vision and direction of the College’s ICT, ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network systems while driving continuous improvement across all technology services.
You will oversee ICT operations, develop and maintain robust security policies and procedures, managing risk, data protection, system backups, and disaster recovery planning. You will ensure compliance with software licensing, copyright, and regulatory requirements, promptly addressing any breaches.
The successful applicant will provide expert technical guidance, run and collaborate with committees and internal & external stakeholders, and act as a key liaison on ICT matters. The role also involves leading ICT support staff, prioritising service delivery, preparing and managing budgets, procurement, and reporting.
Additionally, you will oversee ICT asset management, including hardware lifecycle planning, software subscriptions, and service level agreements, ensuring the College’s technology environment remains modern, secure, and fit for purpose.
