About Our School

STAPCC is a K-12 state-of-the-art Kindergarten to Year 12 college that provides opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. We aim to develop confident, independent young adults in richly resourced learning environments designed to engage students. The college is situated in close proximity to future university campuses, the South-West Rail Link and M5, on a beautiful, spacious property. About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher (Secondary), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. To excel in this role, you must be able to:

  • demonstrate commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students
  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • work closely with students with a disability to provide access to the curriculum on the same basis as their peers
  • facilitate and provide curriculum resource materials and information to support classroom teachers
  • disseminate information about students' abilities, learning needs on a regular and ongoing basis to subject teachers
  • demonstrate knowledge of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) guidelines and levels of adjustment
  • communicate and collaborate with parents, students and class teachers for effective differentiation in the classroom for students with additional needs
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing effective feedback
  • commit to continual improvement of teaching and learning
  • demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
  • work collaboratively in a team environment to promote a shared commitment to teaching and learning and alignment with College strategic directions
  • demonstrate excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
  • provide a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
  • provide Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
