Established in 1889, Richmond State School is a co-educational facility offering a range and variety of learning experiences for students in Prep to Year 10.

It caters for approximately 100 students from the rural community of Richmond, which is situated on the Flinders Highway approximately half way between Townsville and Mt Isa.
