Your Role

Our school is seeking a vibrant, efficient, and energetic person for the position of Finance Officer. This is a term-time continuing position for 35hpw commencing as soon as possible (as negotiated with the successful applicant).

The Finance Officer will apply a depth of knowledge and a broad range of skills which facilitate the financial management and administration of the school. 

Duties performed include, but are not limited to:

  • Practising confidentiality in relation to all aspects of the role
  • Providing administrative support to senior management of the school where discretion and judgement are required, including: initiating and handling correspondence (which may include confidential correspondence); monitoring telephone calls; and establishing and/or maintaining working filing systems
  • Within a variety of routines, methods and procedures providing significant assistance in the preparation and analysis of; financial information to trial balance; budgets; profit and loss reports; balance sheet reports; trading activity reports; cash management analysis; purchasing control procedures, prepa
