St Kieran Catholic Primary School is a co-educational, double stream primary school with a strong and vibrant community. The school has a current enrolment of 528 students from 3 Year Old Kindergarten to Year 6 with an Education Support Unit and a Regional Early Intervention Centre for Students with Disabilities. The school was originally established in 1920 by the Sisters of Mercy and maintains strong links with the Congregation.
The school has a very supportive parent and parish community that sees the St Kieran environment as a family. This relationship is encouraged and embraced by all.

- How they are an exceptional classroom teacher who has proven themselves in a variety of classroom situations.
- How they value the role of parents to be actively involved in the education of their child and demonstrate how they are able to achieve this in their current teaching setting.
- How they incorporate meaningful use of Digital Technology across the curriculum.
- Their positivity and enthusiasm for supporting students with a disability and catering for their needs.
- How they provide a dynamic and differentiated learning experiences for all students.
- How they are an organised staff member who shows initiative, flexibility and displays a positive outlook.
- How they utilise the skills of other staff to meet the needs of their students and how they support others using their own gifts.
- Their highly developed organisational and communicational skills and the capacity to utilise these with all stakeholders.
- Applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
Qualifications Required:
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or willingness to obtain
- Special Needs experience is highly desirable
- Applicants must provide the contact details of 3 referees including a reference from the Parish Priest
